Cleaning Leather Shoes
So lets get to it, we have all been there: a big smudge of mud on our brand new beautiful white leather shoes. This might be the very definition of the worst day ever. Did someone step right on your whitey’s? (They would be wise to disappear into thin air right about now).
It’s okay though, because we have the solution for cleaning your brand new (dirty) shoes: Windex! Who would have guessed it? Does windex work for cleaning your shoes? You heard me right, since I was in middle school trying to impress my classmates with my pearly white shoes, my Grandpa would instruct me to shine them with Windex (never doubt good ‘ol Gramps) and it is very effective!
So, here it is: Ez-Fix-Home tips on how to get your leather shoes looking brand new:
Use a paper towel soaked with water to wash off any dirt/debris on your shoes.
Spray a generous amount of Windex onto clean paper towels and wipe only the leather portions of your shoes thoroughly.
Use a paper towel soaked with water to rinse the Windex off your shoes.
You’re done! You have clean shiny shoes and a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day ALL better.
Well, okay they might not be THAT white, but they should be looking a lot better! The conversation continues below, Tell us your best shoe cleaning tips in the comment section!
